Want to buy on the Web?
Will he do your next repair? Will he advise you on the right equipment and fit it for you?

In this day and age of the internet, many people want to buy on the web. The reality is that the vast majority of sales on the web are financial products, travel, entertainment and books. Why is that? Even for ordinary products, you want to be able to see and feel the product before ordering. With mobility products, you need to have the product fitted and installed. Later you will need preventative maintenance and possibly repairs.

The truth is that the number of mobility purchases you will make in your lifetime is very limited. Few people can gain the knowledge and experience to make a wise purchase decision. Add to that the rapidly changing technology in the mobility field, the wide diversity of products and the fact that your condition is often changing and you see the value that a knowledgeable dealer is essential. The dealer will demonstrate for you the different types of products available and show which ones work with best with power wheelchair or scooter you have and the condition you have.

When you buy from a dealer you do not need to wonder about the cost of shipping. Freight damage is not an issue for you, the dealer handles that. You do not have to be home when the product arrives nor worry that your new product is on the porch subject to weather or theft.

Finally, most mobility products require install. On simpler products, you might be tempted to do the install or have a friend or relative do that. By doing self-install, you void the warranty on most mobility products. The install almost always requires modifying your vehicle, affecting the warranty on it also. Why do manufacturers take that stance? It comes down to safety and liability. They know that with the ever increasing complexity of the vehicles and the mobility equipment, having a trained technician do the work is essential to safe, reliable performance.
